Dr. Brian K.S. Kucey

Dr. Kucey is internationally recognized as a leader and educator in Prosthodontics and Dental Implants. He has been acclaimed for his success in delivering clinical treatments and education in implant dentistry.

Dr. Brian Kucey, a graduate of the University of Alberta Dental School, received his Certificate in Prosthodontics and MSEd in Medical Education at the University of Southern California.

Among his professional affiliations, he holds Fellowships in the American College of Prosthodontists, American College of Dentists, Royal College of Dentists of Canada, International College of Dentists, Academy of Dentistry International, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Among his many memberships are the Pacific Coast Society of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, Association of Prosthodontists of Canada (Past President), Edmonton and District Dental Society (Past President), Alberta Academy of Prosthodontists (Past President), Alberta Dental Association & College (Past President), Alberta Society of Dental Specialists (Past President), and the Canadian Dental Association.

Dr. Kucey serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics. He is co-director at the University of Alberta Dental Implant Program and the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene Implant Module.

Dr. Kucey has lectured and presented clinics nationally and internationally and authored numerous papers on prosthetic and implant dentistry. In 2006 his speaking engagements include presentations in Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Montreal, at the NobelBiocare World Conference, as well as many lectures in Edmonton and Calgary. He is co-chair of the Implant Dentistry program at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Kucey maintains a full-time private practice in Edmonton devoted to prosthodontics, implant surgery, and restoration where he provides state of the art treatments such as Nobelguide, Novum, Teeth in a Day, and All-on-Four. He is founder and mentor for the Alberta Implant Seminar, Canadian Implant Seminar, Alberta Implant Centre and Canadian Implant Centres.
